Ok, so after searching and reading many posts, i have changed my retarded sounding mufflers, to OBX mufflers. I cant wait they should be here next week. Now, I had custom piping done when i first bought the car, before i met anyone that had or knew anything about the Z, and before being on here. Plus, i didnt know anything about the Z (not that i know much now for that matter), so i had a muffler shop make me custom piping for around $400, and installed these hideous mufflers that I am soon getting rid of. Now, First, it was HELLA loud, because he took the cat out, and only put 2 resonators. Then I had 2 more put it and now she sounds more like what I wanted her to sound like. Now, it has come to my attention that the car should have an X pipe to connect both exhausts pipes to calibrate the engine. Or something like that. So, I've heard it has to be an X-pipe, then no no a Y-Pipe, then no no an H-pipe. Told it has to be near the front, no the middle no no the back. =( So, finally for my question. Can someone tell me IF connecting them is needed for a TT engine, if so, what kind of connection X Y H ? AND, where in the exhaust should it be ? By engine ? mid car ? Rear end ? Please do not respond to this if you are one of those people that go way off topic and talk about yourself and everything that you know and how many mistakes i have made by putting up this post. If you dont like it, click on the little X at the top of your screen and find another post. For the rest of you that have real opinions/facts to share and like to help. Thank you for your time.
